Crave Series by Tracy Wolff

Fantasy, Romance, Young Adult

The series is comprised of 6 books

 1 - Crave, 2 – Crush, 3 – Covet , 4 - Court, 5 – Charm, 6 - Cherish

Grace Foster (17) ,the main character of the series just lost her parents and is sent to Kaymere Academy in Alaska, a boarding school run by her uncle.

Together with her grief and being away from everything she has known Grace in a very sad place, however she is reunited with her cousin Macy who is a great relief.

The first few days are testing for Grace as it seems bad things are happening to her and she doesn’t know why. She also meets Jaxon Vega who is a Vampire. Grace now discovers the school caters for the paranormal, Witches, Werewolves, Vampires and Dragons.

In this first book we are introduced to various characters who will come with us through the series journey , some are adorable and some are certainly not.

It turns out that Grace believes she is the only human around as her uncle Finn and cousin Macy turn out to be a Warlock and a witch.  So if she is just human why does it seemed that everyone is trying to get her. Well, you have to read the books!!!!

The books are actioned packed with twists and turns that are not expected although some are predictable. Still very entertaining which is the purpose of the books.

There are several strong messages relating to family, loyalty, love and the discovery of one self. The road is not always easy and we don’t always know the right things to do and that is OK.

The author is very clever in keeping us guessing on what happened to Grace for a period of 4 months of which she has no memory of.  In book 5 - Charm all is revealed. I had to read book 2 again to remind me of what implications those lost events had on some of the main characters.

All books are around 600 pages and it is easy reading. Some dialogue is really funny LOL (laugh out loud) funny. There is some repetition which can be aggravating.

All in all if you feel like escaping to a world of mystery and fun, this is the series for you.
