As a library we love our community. We want this space to be a place where everyone feels welcomed and comfortable - the living room of the district, if you like.
While our innovative team goes all out to bring programmes and services that are going to benefit the community, we are not always certain if what we are offering is what the community wants and needs, which is why our survey is really important.
By taking a few minutes out of your day to fill in a paper survey form or completing it online, you hare having YOUR say about YOUR library.
We will use the results of the survey to help plan future services and programmes as well getting feedback about we are presently offering. So don't be shy and don't hold back. Your opinion is important and vital.
Paper copies of the survey are available at Ōtorohanga Library and Kāwhia libraries. If you want to complete the survey online the link is: engage.otodc.govt.nz. Once you are on the Engage site, head to the library project section and click on 'Take Survey'.
Click on 'View Project'
This takes you to the next screen, where you will click on the survey button.
We are also running community engagement sessions around the district. First up is Kāwhia on Saturday 19th August at the Kāwhia Community Hall from 11 am until 1 pm.
Then it's Ōtorohanga's turn. This will be held in the library Monday 21st August until Friday 25th August.
The last engagement session will be at the Arohena Playcentre, Tuesday 29th August running from 10.15 am until 11.30 am.
We look forward to hearing your thoughts and meeting you at one of the engagement events.
